Mama Davina D. Estrella Ramey is a Full Spectrum Doula,  Community Herbalist, Craftswoman and aspiring CPM/ Traditional Midwife. She is working to recover the lost traditional knowledge of womens health, spiritual and family practices in her own lineages across the African Diaspora, Indigenous Americas, Europe and Asia, essentially all lines she has blood ties to around the world.

She approaches the work with humility, authenticity,  respect, reverence, patience, curiosity and reciprocity.

DvinaEstrella believes all wombs are connected to the moon and that all woman across the planet have inate traditional and cultural knowledge, and deserve access about how to connect to, and care for our bodies, our earth, natural resources, our families and that this knowledge is our birthrite.

Estrella advocates for these teachings to be protected and preserved for future generations. 

  

She strives to serve her community with compassion, and integrity.

Estrella makes it a point to meet folks where they are at!

DvinaEstrella or Estrella, was born in The Ohlone Village of Huichin also known as Oakland and raised in Berkeley, California.

​

She is a wife and mother of 7 live birth children, 10 angel/ abiku babies, caretaker of the land, natural resources and many pets.

She is a daughter, sister, friend, confidant, advisor and community auntie, who is abundantly grateful to the many mentors in her life who continue to guide her, present opportunities for growth, uplift, andsupport her journey, as well as the many others in the community, with their generous wisdom and expertise.
